Journalist

Content House, Malta’s largest online media company, is seeking a talented journalist with a strong interest in local business news and current affairs. In line with our growth strategy, we are looking for an insightful, analytical, and creative individual eager to play a key role in our expanding editorial team.

With an annual social media reach exceeding 10 million users, Content House’s online portfolio includes eight prominent portals spanning various sectors. Four of these portals – WhosWho.mt, MaltaCEOs.mt, BusinessNow.mt, and iGamingCapital.mt – are recognised leaders in the business-to-business segment.

As these platforms continue to gain substantial traction, with a reach surpassing 3 million users in the past six months alone, we are expanding our editorial team and seeking a journalist who can make a meaningful impact on our leading online business platforms.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Business Editor, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to:

• Conduct interviews with influential business leaders, personalities and people who matter in business.
• Work on home-grown stories, as well as track and report on emerging business news.
• Generate innovative and insightful story angles and follow-ups that resonate with our growing audiences.

Candidate Profile

We give preference to candidates with a strong foundation in Journalism and/or English Language, Communications, or Economics/Finance. Experience in news and journalism is considered an asset. This is a full-time role, and our business editorial team operates in a hybrid office/remote working model.
